Cyro Cyber are looking for an Office and People Manger to join our rapidly expanding and diverse team. You will be involved in an array of exciting projects to help take the company to the next level, with a wide and varied remit of responsibilities.

You'll be reporting to the Chief of Staff and will be expected to support the business’s back-office operations. This will span office management, procurement and people related matters as well as providing diary management and support for the Executives.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to be key in developing and building up the operational capability within a growing security practice with significant opportunity for growth in the UK. There is the potential for this role to be a pathway into other areas of the business and huge opportunity for professional and personal development.

Primary Responsibilities of the Office and People Manager:

  • Office management (London and Sheffield)

  • On / Off boarding staff (including benefits management)

  • Administration of security clearances

  • Be the first point of contact for staff & queries

  • Manage staff training & development plans and skills matrix

  • Company event management

  • Procurement and travel bookings

  • Adhoc executive assistant


Critical Competencies of the Office and People Manager:

  • Proven record of success in managing multiple activities with varying levels of urgency and deadlines across the difference section of the business

  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and changing environment.

  • Demonstrate good level of business acumen, seek efficiencies and control costs

  • Pragmatic, show initiative, respect data integrity, detail driven and possess orientated.

  • Ability to convey and effect the company’s culture, values and work ethic both to internal staff and externally to end users and business partners

  • Ability to contribute towards solving operational problems

  • Team player with “can-do” and proactive attitude


Additional Requirements of the Office and People Manager:

  • At Cyro we embrace flexible & hybrid working, this role requires office presence at least 3 days a week in London with occasional visits to other locations. The office is near Fleet Street in central London.

  • Eligible for BPSS clearance

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills

  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

  • Approachable, professional and appropriate with customers, business partners and staff

  • Good numeracy skills

  • Fully conversant with Microsoft suite of products to an intermediate level:

    • Outlook

    • Excel

    • Word

    • PowerPoint

    • SharePoint

    • Teams

  • Experience within the Cyber Security industry sector desirable, but please still apply if you don't have this!
